Hardly get up
Hardly get up in the morning
usually feeling pretty sick
since I know there is no dawning
it might happen very quick
snipping weary at my coffee
while I think about it all
what if one of those Ghaddafies
press a button and all falls
I see idiots all around me
most are in this state quite long
sooner or later they'll be history
but even that can't really turn me on.
Face the mirror discontented
who's that staring there at me
and I think I will be damned
what the hell they've done to him.
But I have to end this crap now
I will step into the scene
to bring peace in this old world now
I will shout out what I mean.
And we are already many
hardly to ignore to see
that together without any
violence marching peaceful on the streets.

Ich kann morgens
Ich kann morgens kaum noch aufstehn,
meistens fühl ich mich ganz krank
seit ich weiß, dass wir bald draufgehn,
und das dauert nicht mehr lang
ich schlürf lustlos meinen Kaffee
und ich denk darüber nach,
was ist, wenn irgend so ein Affe auf nen Knopf drückt dass es kracht.
Um mich her sind nur noch Idioten,
manche sinds schon ziemlich lang.
Bald zähln die auch zu den Toten,
doch das macht mich auch nicht mehr an.
Grimmig schau ich in den Spiegel.
Mensch, da glotzt mich einer an;
und ich denk, mich trifft ein Ziegel,
was ham se dem denn bloß getan...
Doch das muss jetzt anders werden,
ich steig in die Szene ein.
Damits friedlich wird auf Erden,
will ich meine Angst rausschrein.
Und wir sind schon ziemlich viele,
sind kaum mehr zu übersehn,
die gemeinsam mit dem Ziele
Frieden schaffen auf die Straße gehn....
